Reproduction of Bob Emott 1969 Pro Chassis
I first saw Phillip Niyazi's beautiful scratchbuilt reproductions of 60s chassis on a
major auction website. I invited him (I begged him!) to contribute some
images to scratchbuilt.com. Thanks, Phillip!
Phillip Niyazi writes: "Bob Emott was a pro racer in the late 60s. He came over to
England in 1969 for a race at Tottenham Model Raceways, and he thrashed everybody! While
he was here, he wrote a chassis building article in Model Cars magazine, in December, 1969.
This chassis was built from that article. It is built for a Champion motor, endbell drive
and 1/8 axles."
