Stainless Steel Tuning Fork chassis
Graham Windle contributed this example of "sound" chassis design. Thanks!
"Here are a few pictures of the Stainless Steel Tuning Fork chassis. It was originally
made by Tony Worswick (recent British Open Single Seater champion) when he was a young man.
He used it to win the Clitheroe Open meeting, around 1969."
"I obtained the chassis after the event
and ran it for a couple of years. It held the lap record for some time at Accrington. During its
lifetime, it underwent several changes of motor, but always some type of B can. You see it
in its last incarnation with B Group 20."
