Gary writes:
This is one of six similar Spring Steel chassis
I built in 1982, copies of a chassis being run at the time
by our Connecticut Pro Russ Boyington. This one was built for
Group 20 or 27 competition. It was cut out of a sheet of
spring steel using a Dremel tool. Designed for use in heavy glue,
it was very competitive.
