Kenneth Webster's Scratchbuilt HO Caprice
A couple months ago, Kenneth Webster wrote asking me about scratchbuilding in HO scale.
I didn't have much to tell him; one of our frequent contributors had worked in HO scale but wouldn't go public, and
I vaguely remembered some articles in Car Model magazine, which he could buy on ebay. I wasn't much help,
but I wished him good luck anyway. Now, lo and behold, Ken writes back with a finished product!
All done already! Pretty awesome, I'd say. Check it out.
Ken writes:
"Since I last wrote, I completed a scratchbuilt H.O. scale chassis with a Caprice body. The car performs
beyond my expectations, like a Riggen with a drop arm. I've seen cars like this, with half the complexity,
sell on Ebay for good money; because of their rarity and the small, tedious work involved."
