This was built for VMRA's new Brass Rod class, inspired by this very website!
The chassis is a very simple design, but handles very well without movement.
It uses a Slick 7 guide tongue and REH motor bracket; the rest is 1/16" brass
rod and strip for the center section. It features no drop arm, which was not
quite correct for that period. To accommodate larger rear tires, I use JK
offset oilites. I didn't want to use small tires with the Chaparral 2E body,
although it would handle better. The rear wing is removable, using a snap-in mount
I designed. It's one of my favorite cars from the Can-Am era.
