Here are pictures of a chassis I built in late '68 or '69. I entered it in our school's 9th grade Industrial Arts Fair, and
won a ribbon for craftsmanship. It is fashioned after a chassis depicted in Car Model Magazine, copied from
a California chassis builder. A friend did all the machine work on our drop arms, you can see his initials there.
His Dad had a lot of tools to help build the chassis.
I don't remember running it much, although I must have, as the rear bearings are sloppy. Mostly I remember having
a Mura set-up with a too hot arm that kept melting the endbells!
