Gary Abramowicz: Spring Steel Group 7 Chassis

Gary Abramowicz sends great shots of three chassis in his slot box. Gary
built the chassis that Rapid Rick Raducha drove to the
1985 Group 20 National Championship.
Gary writes:
I built this Spring Steel chassis in 1982. It was a copy of a chassis being run
by our Connecticut Pro Russ Boyington at the time. In total, I built around six
of these chassis - this one was built for Group 7 competition. It currently has
a vintage Group 7 motor with a 26-27 arm. It was cut out of a sheet of spring steel
using a Dremel tool. Designed for use in heavy glue, it was very competitive at the time.
