Mike McAnaspie: Bob Emott's classic design

Mike writes:
"This is my attempt at Bob Emott's classic design, using the article
from
Model Cars, December 1969. I was inspired to build one having seen one
of
Phillip Niyazi's on
Ebay and failing to win it! I badly wanted to have one again, having owned
an original sometime around 1970 - I'm 99% sure it was the actual one Bob
built for the article."
"This is my first ever scratchbuilt chassis. It was probably a bit ambitious
for a first attempt, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out. A few
lessons were learned which I can carry forward to the next one."
"Many thanks are due to Phillip Niyazi and John Secchi, who answered my questions
and provided information and encouragement."
