The Betta vac body is attached with pins to a mysterious (but see this article,
Mystery Chassis!) 3 rail piano wire
inline chassis powered by - you might guess - a Mabucchi's 26D, which is soldered to the
rear axle bracket. It rolls on (modern) Slick7 fronts with photo-etched inserts
and rear Alpha sponge wheels on 1/8" axle. Power supply is via 8:28 Cox gears
(.48 pitch). The result is a very well handling Superslot car, very forgiving
especially on the Greyhound track at Hamburg (which is nicknamed "slot cars
Nuerburgring"). Raced only three times ...
