Notes:
This appears to be the oldest chassis in my
Skeels/ProSlot group
. The oxidation is a shade deeper, the solder looks grayer, and the design is prior to the split front axle.

The hinged rails interact with the plumber cross bar.
When the hinged section is raised, it raises the side pans.
Springwire adds tension to the mechanism.
